Abstract
A considerable number of women in developing countries experience a deterioration of psychological health following childbirth. Despite this, postnatal depression largely remains undetected and untreated public health problem in this part of the world. This study is one of very few that looks at postnatal depression among women from developing countries and more specifically, is one in addition to another from Bangladesh.
