The 2nd Annual Training and Knowledge-sharing Workshop of Comprehensive Primary Health Care (CPHC) is going to be held from January 31 to February 06, 2010 in BRAC Center Inn. Researchers and Public Health Experts from India, Pakistan and Iran apart from two teams from James P Grant School of Public Health and Gonashasthaya Kendra will be participating in the workshop. Professor Ronald Labonte of University of Ottawa will facilitate most of the sessions along with Dr. Thelma Narayan. A session on Knowledge Translation and Exchange (KTE) will be held by Mr. Anish Barua and Professor Dr. Anwar Islam.
A gala dinner has been organized on this occasion on February 02, 2010 at 7 pm in Banquet Hall of BRAC Inn. The Honorable Secretary of Health, Government of Bangladesh has kindly accepted to be present in the dinner as Chief Guest. Honorable Vice Chancellor of BRAC University Professor Jamilur Reza Choudhury will chair the session. Government officials, policy makers, NGO high officials, personnel from international agencies, renowned public health professionals and health systems specialist will enrich the gala with their kind presence.
