Ms. Sajeda Begum has joined as Program Implementation Specialist for GFATM-913 Project (Building and Strengthening the Technical and Institutional Capacities of Government, NGOs, and Implementing Partners) at the James P Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University. She has been working in the development arena for about 24 years. She has extensive experience of working in a number of international, national organizations and government development projects. She has substantive experience and knowledge of working in women empowerment; poverty alleviation; family health; arsenic mitigation, hygiene and sanitation; human and child rights; BCC marketing; HIV prevention; training, capacity and partnership building; social mobilization, policy and media advocacy and networking, research and development. Ms. Sajeda serves different organizations in different capacities such as Senior Field Monitor and Team Leader in RMP Project of CARE Bangladesh, Project Officer in BRDB, Community Development Officer in GTZ/GIZ, Consultant in BAMWSP-DPHE, Socio Economic Advisor in DANIDA, Coordinator BCCM in BCCP, Coordinator in Bangladesh Shisu Adhikar Forum, Program and Technical Specialist-Accessing Condon for Young in HASAB Bangladesh. Ms. Sajeda planned, designed, developed, organized and facilitated a number of training, advocacy events at national and regional levels, developed training manuals and program implementation guidelines. She has close liaison with different ministries. Sajeda has wide experience in dealing with donor community and networks e.g. EC, DANIDA, ILO, TDH-Netherland, USAID, DFID, GFATM, UNODC, CIDA and UNICEF, CRIN, Global Week.
Ms. Sajeda has Masters Degree in Management from the University of Rajshahi and Public Health from North South University
