Maliha Bassam is the Documentation and Communications Officer of the GFATM Project. She has a B.A. in Economics from Vassar College. She has previously worked in New York raising funds for a private institution of higher education, as a marketing intern at a non profit arts and education organization empowering at-risk youth through the media arts, as a bank intern at a non profit serving rural and migrant communities, as an advocate/counselor at a domestic violence agency and as a volunteer at the transitional services of a maximum security prison. Her interests include gender, public policy, health policy, labor rights and global development. |
